Student Recommendations

Rosemary K

Gained a Diploma in Design after four years with the National College of Art & Design, Dublin Ireland: "The Academy course is exactly what I was looking for and needed. The varied projects that JJAADA design has had opened my eyes to the big picture, motivating and invigorating me in a much more focused and clear manner as to what I can do in the design business."

Rosemary
is successfully working in America.

Irene S S
Irene, whose father is a textile designer, completed 3 years graphic design at the Universidad José María Vargas, Caracas Venezuela, followed by a part time Interior Design course at the Escuela de Diseño de Caracas Venezuela. "The Academy course has put me right in the centre of design and has given me the self confidence to tackle real jobs, a challenge which I never really believed I could take on. Direct feed-back from designers working on current projects gives me a hands on approach, enabling me to choose the avenue I wish to follow for my design career."

During the course, Irene S S successfully completed an exhibition and after a month's placement she was employed by a design practice.

Irene is successfully working in Barcelona.

The Academy's uniquely 'hands on' approach has been carefully coordinated to be flexible so that course activities can be tailored to the individual student's requirements in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere.

The courses involve a balance of tuition and some practical work, given the needs and requests of the individual, which enables direct feedback from the designers. This novel method includes discussion and detailed analysis of completed work, students have access to designers working on current / ongoing projects - a real eye opener which illuminates the various processes and stages tackled daily by a typical design organisation.
